About the Sales Manager position

Reporting to the Global Sales Director for T1, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing long term and influential business relationships with assigned key customers and new potential customers in the US market. They will be the key interface between Arduino and customers taking accountability for growth, customer satisfaction, and results within assigned accounts. This position will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to continue to develop a key market for Arduino by identifying and capitalizing on existing growth potential.

Sales Manager responsibilities are:

  • Developing commercial relationships and partnerships with regional channel partners and end customers
  • Expanding the geographic footprint of channel partners in the US
  • Developing a regional strategy to keep all partners up to date with new products and services
  • Maintain account retention while providing exceptional customer service and developing client relationships
  • Identify and close new opportunities within existing customer base
  • Create and execute a territory plan to drive customer retention and upsell opportunities
  • Exceed monthly/quarterly growth and renewal goals
  • Share customer demand and feedback with fellow Arduino crew members to recommend new products and services that deliver profitable new revenue streams

Sales Manager requirements are:

  • Minimum 3- 5 years experience of working in an account management role providing tech solutions to large enterprises
  • Must be able to proactively drive account and manage end-to-end sales process including pitch delivery
  • Drive agreements with key clients and negotiate terms and conditions of new agreements and renewals
  • Analytic, structured, highly driven, and solution oriented person
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong team player and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must be comfortable with up to 20% travel (in the US) when required
