We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to increase our R&D team. This position will be based in Turin or remote for the right candidate. This person will design, develop and test hardware for microcontrollers and application processors used in Arduino or other embedded platforms (e.g. Yocto, Raspberry, etc.)

  • Design, develop, code, test and debug embedded hardware platforms
  • Prototype a product solution from research to production
  • design and maintain test platforms for production and regression testing
  • Most of the design will be open source, we require high quality documentation for all the design process
  • Maintain and improve designs
  • Spread the Arduino verb at conferences and with the developer community
  • design and maintain test platforms for production and regression testing
  • Collaborate with software design team

Skills & Requirements

  • Microcontroller and Application Processor board development, 5+ years of experience
  • High speed busses (DDR memories, PCIe, HDMI, etc) and signal integrity experience
  • Hardware debugging
  • PCB Layout experience (highly appreciated)
  • FPGA Programming experience (highly appreciated)
  • JTAG and other debugging tools (e.g. openocd)
  • Linux kernel driver programming
  • GO Language (bonus points - highly appreciated)
  • Arduino ecosystem (forum, libraries, community etc.)
  • Knowledge of the Arduino ecosystem is definitely a plus
  • Github knowledge is a big plus;
