Arduino is now looking for a Customer Solutions Technician in the Educational support area with experience in teaching, familiar with Arduino and passionate about the DIY and makers world, to join the Customer Experience Team.

As part of the Customer Experience team, you get to work closely with colleagues from both Education Support and Maker support, learning about all our educational products (hardware, software, and online services) in order to provide the best customer experience. You will face different levels of technical questions from teachers, students and individuals around the world which you will evaluate in order to generate clear answers to our customers.

You will also be monitoring and replying to customers on social media, forums and other customer platforms, as well as provide live support over video calls with teachers all over the world. This is why being able to take your own initiative and work independently is of highest importance.

We are looking for a service-minded individual with the ability to explain complex technical terms in an easy way. The main language for customer support for education is English however any other additional languages are a plus.

Location: Arduino’s Swedish office in Malmö, Sweden.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues, documenting and escalating issues.
  • Respond to customers through our support service in a timely manner.
  • Moderate and engage in public conversation through various social media channels and forums.
  • Write documentation and guides to be published in Arduinos Help Center.
  • Host online lectures to support teachers all around the world.
  • Collaborate with other departments to report and document issues identified.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in electronics and programming
  • Good social, communication and customer service skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Experience in troubleshooting software services.
  • Comfortable speaking to customers and providing live real time technical support via video calls.
  • Genuinely passionate about education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in Arduino.
  • Experience in MATLAB & Simulink.
  • Experience in teaching.
  • Knowledge of a second language, preferably Spanish or Italian.
