We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team as responsible for developing and maintaining the firmware packages to be used during product manufacturing and certification. You will be a key asset in contributing to the improvement of Arduino ecosystem.

What you'll work on
- Design, develop, code, test, debug and document embedded software (C++, C).
- Maintain and improve existing code.
- Write application level firmware based on company technology.
- Write and thoroughly document userspace applications to ease the testing phase of our products.
- Coordinate with core firmware teams, quality and external labs to achieve a streamlined testing phase.
What you bring
- 5 years experience in Firmware and libraries development (C, C++)
- Experience with JTAG and other debugging tools (gdb/valgrind)
- Extensive experience of Hardware debugging
- Testing frameworks for embedded code
- Certifications and RF instrumentation
- Fluent in English both verbal and written is mandatory
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of the Arduino ecosystem
- Experience with Zephyr
- Experience with Golang and/or Python
- Knowledge of IoT Protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, TCP, UDP, AMQP) and Github
- Broad knowledge of git flow
- Jira issue tracking is a plus
