We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to increase our R&D team. This position will be based in Turin, Italy. This person will provide day-to-day helpdesk support for Arduino’s growing workforce and offices. Job Description

  • Provide day-to-day 1st level support to ensure the smooth running of the computers, network devices, printers as well as end users' requirements
  • Handle asset management, maintain inventory and licenses, and liaise with vendors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, maintain and update technical support documentation
  • Deploy new hardware, software and accounts to our employees
  • Manage internal IT infrastructure, system monitoring and reports
  • Implement and help monitor corporate IT security guidelines
  • Other duties include performing first level troubleshooting and support for scheduled server backups
  • Monitor and manage cloud service usage on a global scale
  • Help transforming the IT Support department by implementing automation and new workflows
  • Contributing to ongoing system and process documentation efforts


  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and OS (Windows, Linux and/or macOS)
  • Basic knowledge in Linux server administration and hands-on experience in supporting internal IT infrastructure a big plus.
  • Hands-on experience in network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN)
  • Development experience in a dynamic programming language. Being comfortable in Javascript is preferred, as one of the languages most supported by automation platforms; willing to learn Javascript is required otherwise
  • Knowledge of basic setup and configuration of network devices such as firewalls, switches, IP phones, wireless controllers and access points is a plus
  • Experience in managing cloud-based services such as Google Suite, Jira/Confluence is a big plus
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Competent at documenting standard/applications operating procedures
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills to interact effectively at all levels
  • High-potential fresh graduates with no prior experience are welcome
